We went to the Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River. We saw the power-generating turbines, the salmon hatchery with its resident sturgeon Herman, and the counting window. A Bonneville employee stands there with a clicker counting all the different fish species making its way up the fish ladder.

This is why I love the Discover feed.
