Today marks the 10th anniversary of Wada Kouji’s passing. Butter-Fly will forever be one of my favorite songs. May his soul rest among Angemon and Angewomon. 🪽
If you have Decky Loader (decky.xyz) installed on your SteamOS device, do update to version 3.2.3 (or >= 3.2.2) for peace of mind from the recent axios supply-chain attack: github.com/SteamDeckHomebrew/decky-loader/releases/tag/v3.2.3
The real long term solution is to convince your partner to play another game that doesn’t requires regular big updates. 😂
It just crossed my mind that Groundhog Day was the OG rogue-like.
There is a possibility not discussed here with this MagSafe phone keyboard - attach it to a controller and now all the typing you do for searches, passwords, usernames, etc. during couch gaming with a PC will be much easier. youtube.com/watch?v=u7Uz...
The 33 minutes long Nos vies en Lumière can be a Pomodoro song, you take a break after each listen. 🤔 youtube.com/watch?v=t_71...
Not sure if it's just me gotten too used to Breath of the Wild on Switch 1 with 30 FPS, but I feel like something is lost when it's upgraded to 60 FPS on Switch 2.
Like the animations were designed around to be 30 FPS and everything got sped up in 60 FPS, the laid back and cozy atmosphere was lost.
Lenovo Legion Go S Steam OS edition or LeLeGoS SO for short. 😂
A Lenovo Legion Go S introduction screen highlighting the Steam button on the side with a Xbox logo with the text "This is the Steam button".
Steam button you say? The logo looks a little sus.
Pokémon games have not felt the same for me since the Switch era, the magic of the "pocket" part of the "pocket monster" was lost.
Surprised no one has picked the Master Sword yet.
I might get arrested but I'll look cool on the headline photo. 🗡️
Just crossed my mind that one of Gustave's opening dialogues - "I'm enjoying the useless-ness of today and readying for my usefulness for tomorrow" resonates with my takeaway from "Art is useless": sive.rs/useless
A Nintendo Switch 2 without controllers attached standing on a wooden table.
Kind of into Into the Breach recently, each session is just the right amount of time for toilet seating, or other awkward amount of time.
Switch OLED and Steam Deck OLED should take notes.
A drawing of Clippy but the body is yellow and the background is black.
So, I drew a Clippy. 📎
Gigguk's take (1:48 - 3:33) on the comparison between Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 resonates so much with me, I still, to this date, couldn't click with FF7R's combat system: youtube.com/watch?v=zdk9...
2 months since I started playing Expedition 33, after trying to delay the ending by exploring, I've finally completed the main story line. There hasn't been a game that I enjoyed this much for many years, it's well made and has elements I like from Breadth of the Wild to Nier: Automata. A must play.
Nintendo Switch 2 with Apple EarPods plugged in at the bottom USB-C port, Switch 2 setting screen shows EarPods.
A little surprised to find that Switch 2 supports wired USB earphones (or at least Apple EarPods), on both the bottom and top USB-C ports, and the EarPods volume control works. Correct me if I'm wrong, I think the first Switch didn't support USB-C earphones.
Saw a lot of online discussions mentioning disappointment in the Switch 2 screen not being OLED, I for one hope it'll be a good flicker-free LCD because most OLED nowadays uses PWM (www.notebookcheck.net/Why-Pulse-Wi...).
