So, something weird happened a year and a half ago I've never talked about. It was a direct message from a white supremacist. They linked me a tweet of theirs, and asked me to mock them. What I said it didn't matter, just as long as I quote-tweeted their message. Which is a pretty interesting tactic. They thought their meme was compelling enough and had enough latent support it would be a net-win. They already had 10s of thousands of seeming legitimate followers. Ever since then, Ive been really hesitant to amplify others' "bad tweets" Is in no way stating "ignore them and they'll go away" but in this case they actively tried to court me to help them spread their message.

Just got into it this year. Has been pretty fun so far.

QoS and CoS are two different things. CoS is primarily used in switching so they are doing it right. The wording in the diagram is a bit confusing though.

It seems like NaaS is just "outsourcing operations" with a new name. RFC 1925 Rule 11

Good write up from Lee (as always). I've been pretty leery of what Nile is offering because it seems too good to be true. Their model is a straight sales pitch to higher ups in order to bypass the technical folks which rubs me the wrong way. "Don't worry about your network, we'll save you money!"

It was almost overnight too. I mean I'm still at like a third of my followers/following as over on the bird app but we're getting there and it all came as soon as the election ended. Sports twitter too.

Facebook sucks but it's almost required especially for school related things and in small towns for information.

My office window overlooks our Little Free Library in the front yard. Probably 3-4 times a month someone stops by and swaps out a book. Not bad for our rural small town. Brings a smile to my face each time.

Hey @bsky.app, you know what would be cool? The ability to ignore reposts from individual users. On the "other" platform you can do this. Some people I follow repost too much. I care about what they say, but less so what they repost.

We picked up a small healthcare system through M&A that used cars for their servers. It was the "Cars Domain" and each server was a different model. What's the AD server? Oh, that's Mustang. DHCP? Charger. Storage? Silverado.

If you don't stick to naming conventions it can very easily break reporting, monitoring, and definitely automation.
