YES all I ever really wanted from "AI" is better bot opponents in video games because I don't want to play with other people. It's ridiculous that bot AI peaked in Unreal Tournament more than twenty years ago

Just so you’re aware, every library in LA is offering free masks right now due to the fires. Another reason to love libraries! Let’s hope they continue after the fires are over. Masks save lives in many ways.

Danny, the same black cat with green eyes is lying down with his head up and facing the camera. His ears are slightly lowered and his eyes are narrowed and his has 2 catnip toys in front of him with his paw extended over one and the claws just starting to come out. He will viciously defend this toys to the death but also wants you to play with him and definitely get some treats and have a bit of a cuddle after.

Somehow I have a cat who is all of these at the same time.

I had cat mint in a pot outside, my cat ate it all! Grew one inside and started offering it to him as a treat, no longer interested. Supreme catting!

I now buy them for the neighbour’s cat as well although then my cats steal them when we visit. Basically I have become the neighbourhood nip dealer. 😱

Murray, a fluffy black cat with big fluffy white paws and black toe beans. He is lying on his side on a sofa and partially falling between the sofa cushions. He has a rainbow shaped catnip toy pinned under his front paw and his back paws are doing their best to disembowel it. It is not his house and this is not his toy and he does not care because all in his kingdom (the neighbourhood) is his by divine right.

So many of these bananas have met their end here, with their guts carelessly spilled across the floor. We now get the rainbows because they don’t look quite so bad as they are kicked and licked to their doom.

Spotted this was in London, was curious about the price because cons always seems so expensive & sell out so fast. 5 mins later I appear to have bought weekend tickets for my very first convention! 😱 So if anyone else is doing this UK con I’ll be the one wandering around confused!

Murray, a black and white cat with long, fine fur and long wavy white whiskers. Photo is of head and shoulders and he is looking to one side so we have an excellent profile shot. He is very handsome and reasonably well brushed.

Murray also has very fine, long hair & I use a child’s head lice comb (one with a handle so it brushes around his curves easier). So much money on cat brushes & it’s the £2 nit comb that works. 🤦‍♀️

Have also tried multiple brushes here & the winner has been a small comb designed for headline. There are 2 sizes and Murray prefers the larger (long fine hair) while Dan prefers the tiny one (short dense fur). Have also got a cat shaped tangle teaser style brush that cat next door loves. 🤷‍♀️🤣

Royal wedding of Andrew and Sarah Ferguson - I remember watching this at school & the TV being a Ferguson brand which I thought was hilarious. Also 1984 olympics (vaguely) & then fall of Berlin Wall is a vivid memory.

His back feet are resting on the human’s stomach and his back b legs are flopped apart so that a tempting fluffy belly is accessible for strokes or possibly a trap, no way to know until you touch the floof. He is so incredibly relaxed that his picture needs to be in the dictionary against relaxation. Just having him in your lap in this position forces relaxation upon you and hopefully you get a piece of this feeling transferred to you via this photo.

So glad it’s not just me. Sometimes the ad has the very tiny i symbol in bottom left corner and I always click it and choose “this advert made me feel bad” but really want to be able to just block particular game adverts, can’t imagine how triggering they can be for someone who’s lived through it.

Spookily, I was listening to an audiobook yesterday and someone referred to a breed of sheep as glaikit - I’m going to see/hear this word everywhere now aren’t I?! 🤣
