If this meter was in a 1980s comedy, a nerdy assistant would be using it to spy on a naked lady instead of getting a reading for a photographer with his head under a huge camera's focus cloth (this is also true for r/analog posters today except the assistant and the photographer are the same person)

This but for Fuji X100 accessories
Just in: any time you buy an AmazonBasics product from Amazon, you give Jeff Bezos more money to buy another yacht. If you buy an AmazonBasics product from Camera Traders instead, you give us more money to buy a duck-shaped pedal boat.
Just in: CCDs! They're all the rage! Why spend more on an old point & shoot when you could buy this Nikon D80 instead, equipped with the legendary* Sony ICX493AQA sensor.
* maybe? honestly no idea.
Just in: The original LensBall! Accept no substitutes! Everyone else accepted substitutes and now LensBall doesn't exist any more but humanity is not inherently destined to repeat the mistakes of the past. The power to direct the future of humankind is in your hands. but no pressure.
Just a friendly reminder to all you keen and eager #fp4party goers... Share week begins 13th April. (This is to give time to those that send films off to labs). No biggie if you are sharing already... but do repost them so we can have a critical mass of FP4 images during the week of 13th. 😊
Totally reasonable.
Just in: This Oshiro lens is notable mostly because it's not trying to do anything crazy, it's just a normal 135mm f2.8 lens, with manual focus and a manual diaphragm. No freakishly large apertures, no macro, just lens.
Just in: there's probably a very good reason you'd want to put a Canon EF lens on an Olympus Pen half frame film camera, and if you happen to know that reason, we have an adapter here for you.
Just in: you gotta respect companies in the early digital days who were experimenting with the technology to create form factors that would be impossible with film. Didn't work out in the end, but it was a fun couple of years.
A Carlton Candid Camera with its back removed, showing typical spaces at each end for 127 spools, plus a third compartment tucked away next to the gate which contains an unexposed roll of 127 film.
Look!
Just in: Weirdest part about this Carlton Candid Camera is that it has a little compartment inside to keep an extra roll of film, and it's not mentioned anywhere in the instructions.

Just in: The Minox 35 GT doesn't have much in common with a Ferrari GT, but if we sell this one and then 4662 more of these we'll have enough money to buy a Ferrari GT. Be a pal and help us out here will ya
It's not clear if they're pulling a Micron and permanently exiting the consumer space, but Sony's "temporary" exit isn't going to help skyrocketing memory card prices.
I'm just as god made me, sir
Just in: "Wow, that's a huge Milvus!" That's what people will say when they see your Zeiss Milvus 25mm f1.4 lens. A Milvus is a bird by the way, it sounds worse but it's just a bird. Personally I would not have called it a Milvus but that's just me.
Just in: Panasonic took the pocketable interchangeable-lens GM1, added an EVF and better controls to make it a GM5, and then immediately discontinued it and never built anything like it ever again 🥲
Just in: So, you made a big scene at your kid's last soccer game and now you have to sit in your car BUT their grandma doesn't know about it and you're already on thin ice as it is and you know she'll start asking questions if she doesn't see some photos go up on facebook? It's longer lens time.
Just in: Nikon won't tell you this, but those of us "in the business" know the shameful secret: fisheye lenses are not made from fish eyes like you'd expect. They are actually made from the eyes of alien space newts collected in the black hole behind the moon, which are plasma amphibians, NOT fish!
Just in: the RRS BH-55 can support up to 50lbs, which you simply don't need. "Yes I do," you say. No you don't. 50lbs is a Canon R1, a 1200mm f8, and *two* Arri Alexa 35s with a Cooke anamorphic lens each, at the same time, with pounds to spare. It's OK to admit you want it just because it's cool.
Full control over both aperture and shutter speed, too!
Four portraits of Minnesota residents inside and outside their homes. From left to right: A woman in a hijab, an older woman wearing a red whistle, an elderly couple in winter coats standing in the snow, and a woman wearing a buttoned-up cardigan and dark blue jeans.
The news has moved on, but ICE is still in Minneapolis.
My neighbors are still patrolling streets, driving strangers to work, and providing aid. As a photojournalist at @propublica.org, I wanted to know: What do they look like in their daily lives?
So I picked up my camera 👇
