Worker safety agency NIOSH lays off most remaining staff Laid-off employees ranged from those working in firefighter health programs, to those approving new respirators.

The entirety of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health was wiped out last night in a form letter sent by RFK Jr.

NIOSH investigates workplace hazards and works to find solutions. Gone are programs focused on miner safety and firefighter health:
