So totally dishonest. Mayor Pete did the same thing—“no free college for millionaires and billionaires”—even though the plan set the line for free college at $80,000/household. So, no free college for children of billionaires…and also no free college for children of, like, public school teachers.

Tom Steyer seems like he might be the best of the (distressingly weak) field for CA Governor, but I’m having a hard time forgetting how in 2020 he attacked free public college with “my kids should have to pay for college.” Your kids went to Harvard, Yale, and Stanford!
