Halo: Combat Evolved, and the franchise that resulted from it existing, is so immesurably important to me for so many reasons. I cannot name the sheer amount of struggle and hardship that the endeavors of John-117 have helped me through, nor can I gush enough about how tightly crafted an experience Combat Evolved is, and always has been. Though I am too young to have been with this game for its entire shelf-life, it's never felt that way. Not for even a second of my being, since I held that controller my first time, has it not been with me.
