It was a typical whirlwind of a show weekend, but it was lovely and fun and emotional. It’s hard to believe we only have one holiday show left before Vivien graduates! Thank you to Carolina Dance Foundation and everyone involved. 🩷🩰

V’s choreography: This piece shows that people can come from all different backgrounds & be completely different but can all come together thru art & dance. This dance is a jazz song symbolizing the fusion of 2 different arts w/ 2 completely different histories but still seamlessly come together.

Vivien auditioned a ballet piece of her own choreography for Broughton's International & Arts Festival. Her piece was chosen! I love that she gets a variety of training in BDD, but I am excited that she'll get to show off her main love for Broughton!!

My parents’ kitten, Ozzy, is adorable. I love him. He has mastered the art of the cat nap already.

I was invited to an amazing event tonight. It was a Pride celebration with a drag show hosted by the Pauli Murray LGBTQ Bar Association - PMBA, an organization I’d actually never heard of despite having interacted in the legal community for two decades and knowing many people in the LGBTQ community.

Defying DeSantis, Florida Pride Marchers Light Up Jacksonville Bridge with Rainbow Organizers demonstrated that they didn’t need state permission for queer visibility.

So the people of Jacksonville did it themselves using flashlights and gels.
