If you’re roughly my age, it’s wild to reflect on the optimism for the future Americans felt when Obama was elected — young Americans spontaneously took to the streets to celebrate! — and contrast with what we face today. The falloff over the past 18 years is hard to process.

I have so many friends and relatives who would go nuclear if MY five-year-old were kidnapped by the state. They'd be calling representatives, sending out missing posters, maybe helping me serve a lawsuit.
But they voted for the people who trafficked Liam Ramos and they won't acknowledge him at all.

• Red State Texas has about 2.1 million undocumented immigrants
• Red State Florida has 1.6 M undocumented immigrants
• Blue State Minnesota has 130,000.
And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration."
