TIL:
- the basic @warp.dev terminal is free (I thought it was paid)
- Warp is awesome (built-in file editor, git changes review, QoL stuff for Claude Code and other harnesses)
- Global hotkey docs.warp.dev/terminal/win..., which means I can replace my main terminal with it

I increasingly more and more let the agent commit for me, which is the source of the co-authored-by. When I commit manually I don't add it. But sometimes I commit even when agent works, and sometimes I let agent commit something I've done. Hence "proxy" metric.
I don't add it manually
I've just looked at my commit stats grouped by the "Co-Authored-By:" line, and while it is a very imprecise metric, it is a reasonably good proxy metric.
It looks like I write barely 5% of the code manually nowadays.
In early 2020, I bought a U3419W, and it's still working perfectly fine. For the first time since then, I'm thinking about buying a larger monitor, so I can watch more AI agents run in parallel... 🫠
If you're using Claude Code skills, you might notice it not loading them as reliably and as eagerly as one would like

<rant> A periodic reminder that Sprints, Backlogs, Daily Scrums, Scrum Boards, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Points, Velocity, PIs, etc., have NOTHING AT ALL to do with "Agile." Agility comes from working small, delivering frequently for feedback from actual customers, and adapting based on

I was itching to also start building one, looking forward seeing where you take this :-)
Hope to see you at the php live+ stage at www.techmeetup.cz/conference today!
I've always wanted to build dev tools, but it always felt like everything already exists and has a huge head start. Now it feels like it's possible to innovate again, and l'm having major FOMO.
I've managed to rinse off my phone from ocean water and dry it faster than it takes to load #Linear on slow internet. Not kidding.
People that make productivity apps should have permanently enabled GPRS throttling in their browser.
But maybe you have in mind some use-cases where it would make sense to have an MCP, but I don't see it.
If you need flexibility, tell it always first to inspect the CLI tool's help; if you need exact-ish workflows, you can give it specific commands for specific use-cases. Having this baked into the project's AGENTS.md is IMHO less tokens than a full blown MCP would eat on every invoke.
Having an MCP for everything is not always a win, as it wastes context window. IMHO, it's simpler to add a one-liner to AGENTS.md of the project, along the lines of what I've told it here:
Why? Calling it locally as CLI from claude/etc works perfectly fine
Is it a problem to have wildcard HTTPS so that you don't have to advertise subdomains? Genuine question.
The fourth monkey has emerged. He sees no one, hears no one and speaks to no one.
How to survive in the era of AI:
I'm excited to share that I'll be giving a talk at a meetup hosted by Productboard on Thursday, 2025-09-11! My talk, "All you need is context and feedback loops," is for anyone longing of more useful outputs from LLMs.
See you there! luma.com/y5isba0j

Naming things is no longer one of the two hardest things in software engineering, thanks to AI.
There is a great community meetup happening next week in Brno - it's always well organized, and the people there are very friendly. Don't hesitate to register, you'll definitely learn something new!

I never liked GraphQL, but having a very dynamic "endpoint" where you can query only what you need actually sounds like a sweet spot for MCP tools and LLMs in general 🤔

Sorry for the video quality, OBS se zjevně nekamarádí s Ubuntu na 100%.
