Yeah, it seems like it was met with pretty good responses, so I'm pretty happy about that!

I guess, technically, it IS also an art by me, since I did the thumbnail and background, but that's not quite illustration quality, you catch my drift? (It's also the first time in a long time I've done digital art.) I also had to learn a new editing program (DaVinci Resolve) to make the video. Oof.

I've mostly done art stuff around here, so people probably don't know I also make music. Premiering today (Mar 15) at 11a PDT/2p EDT/6p GMT/3a Mar 16 JST is the first attempt I've done of making something with lyrics, feat #KasaneTeto #重音テト

The colors are lovely, and I adore the persistent lock-and-key design through them!

That it certainly is, but keep at it! You'll definitely thank yourself later.

Yeah, hands suck, and I can't pretend otherwise; good work on the pose though, I can see you're using dynamic poses as reference, which will help you a lot (and something I really wish I did back when I first started drawing) in the long run.

Oh, and I did do some SLIGHT balancing to the image, since it was to be for a profile picture; the original, lineart, and sketch are here:

Either way, this character's probably how I'm going to represent myself online for the foreseeable future. Not sure if I wanna give them a name of their own or not yet, though I do have some ideas (mainly based on what I've been told my name would've been if I were a girl).

It's the first proper attempt at a selfsona; appearance-wise I've taken a lot of elements from Raiko Horikawa of Touhou - and it's far more feminine than me - but the hair's actually fairly accurate in terms of length and appearance.

The first time in a LONG time I've done an art for the express purpose of a profile picture (Discord being the primary such vehicle for said pfps, but now here too).

Oh, and for those who might think the hairstyle looks a bit odd, I went with basically a short-haired version of her PC-98 hair (if you look at her actual boss sprites from LLS, you'll see what I'm meaning) but her modern outfit design. Why? Because I did.

And the (mostly finished versions) of the inking and sketch. I used colored pens for the inking this time! I think I do really like the vibe of using colored pens in theory, but thick black lines definitely still have a place in my artstyle.

#YuukaKazami from the #TouhouProject

I've got mixed feelings about this; if you look close you can see areas where I had to whiteout over my inking because I had SEVERAL marker leaks while using the shading colors. I think it still came put okay in the end, but there's a lot to do better next time.

Oh yeah, here's the original sketch and lineart; I also did the coloring on paper that's not quite intended for it, hence why things didn't blend a ton.

Alice Margatroid (from the Touhou Project) is holding a poor rendition of a Japanese Robin. One of her dolls is peeking over her shoulder.

This is the first semi-finished art I've done in AGES, and I've been working to refine/change my style a bit more to something that feels a bit more natural. This isn't all the way there yet, but I think I've set a new bar for myself.

That art is so adorable, specially that rendition of Marisa!

More MHA TTRPG character art; this time it's "Noa" Iyasu. Not 100% on board with the lineart and coloring here, but it was kinda experimental anywho. There's a high liklihood I make a digital version of this one too.

The first art of any sort I've done in quite a while (like 6 months plus), so I figured I'd throw it on here. Colored with a handful of Copics, but I also added the lineart.

This is Me Hirogeru, one of my MANY NPCs for my My Hero TTRPG. Char info in colored alt text.
