It has been a busy end to the year!
After attending the SEFAGIA meeting last month, we participated in the @iuopa.bsky.social meeting that took place last week in Corias, Asturias.
It was a great opportunity for networking, scientific discussion, and even a little bit of hiking!
👏 Y termino mi participación en la #SemanaDeLaCiencia en el IES Bernaldo de Quirós (Mieres), un sitio especial para mí.
Dos semanas intensas con 12 charlas y mucho viaje, pero de gran importancia, necesarias, para trasladar lo que hacemos a la gente.

⭕ Hoy ha sido uno de los días más gratificantes que recuerdo desde que hago divulgación, explicando la autofagia a las clases de 6º de Primaria del CEIP Jacinto Benavente (Gijón).
Comportamiento ejemplar, asombro constante y preguntas maravillosas.

Hoy me he pasado por el Colegio San Nicolás de Bari, en Avilés, para aclarar unas cuantas dudas sobre el cáncer y la investigación que hacemos en este campo.
🔬📰 ¡Se nos echó la noche encima ayer en la #SemanaDeLaCiencia!
Un placer asistir al IES Monte Naranco (Oviedo) y al CEPA Oriente-Costa (Llanes) para hablar de investigación en cáncer y de cómo comunicamos sobre ello.

⭕ Nuevo día de #SemanaDeLaCiencia, con nuevas charlas explicando qué es la autofagia y por qué es tan importante para nuestras células y nuestra salud (y no, nada que ver con dietas ni ayunos intermitentes).
Hoy, en el IES El Batán (Mieres) y el CIFP Cerdeño (Oviedo).
📰 El segundo día ha estado centrado en el cáncer, y en cómo informamos sobre nuestros avances desde los laboratorios y los medios de comunicación.
Todo ello en una gira por tres centros de Gijón: Colegio Corazón de María, IES Calderón de la Barca e IES Universidad Laboral.
