This feels common at times. I wonder how much of this comes from people feeling like they're bothering someone. (Not saying that's your case, just in general.)

As more and more stuff is made, I find myself coming to this exact thought.

Had a map with a cursed idea, but the execution of it wasn't feeling right. Decided to leave it for a bit because nothing was really working. Upon returning to the map and looking at it for a bit, I found the way to make it all work. The added benefit of also making it far far more cursed.

Yes! I love when games hide their scope, (and sometimes lie/mislead about it) even in the UI. I've been doing this with my most recent project.

I've sadly done this once. (Only once though.) It was for a company related issue where I work that someone else wanted me to look into. I wound up calling back because the person that had me on the issue also didn't have the number when I asked and I didn't want to hold up the support guy.

I don't think I've ever been that productive on the game before or after that. If I had that level of productivity consistently across the project, it most likely would have been finished years ago.

Speaking of DT4, it is on hold for the next couple weeks while I work on something else for a bit.

During 2022, I got covid, but it wasn't too bad for me. (Had symptoms for 6 days and only 1 was actually bad) I was still quarantined at home, of course. During that time, there was a rather large level (honestly the largest in the game still) in DT4 that I nearly finished within those 6 days.
