“Ontarians should learn to see through all the flim-flam. The claims retailed in these ads are no more reliable than those you might find in your average used-car lot.”

“We all support people who want to stop or change their drug use. But those of us who work in the field understand that that is often a really long process that requires a lot of support. What safe consumption sites do is … they make sure that people can stay alive during that process.”
“Strong opinion is a hallmark of independent journalism and sometimes along the way that leads to reader disappointment and offence.”
Take your marbles home, take a breath and sit down, Mr Ambassador.
There had to be 300+ professionals there, many of them non-Indigenous allies from hospitals, health & community organizations. An encouraging sign of the desire to learn, improve and lead change. When we improve health justice and outcomes for Indigenous Peoples we build a better health system.
Coudln’t agree more. AI has amazing potential to improve (or harm) our lives. It needs to be on a thoughtfully-developed regulatory leash.

“If you feel bad about it, don’t.
In time, you will remember how much fun this past month was. Soon after that, you’ll start to appreciate it. These moments are perishingly few anywhere, because they only happen when your team doesn’t win very often.” #WorldSeries #BlueJays #IWantItAll #canada

Canadians deserve realness and generational thinking to preserve what makes our country great. Public health care is foundational to being Canadian and we need honest, adult conversations and tough, principled decision-making. We can do it.

“This attack on free speech will not stop at America’s borders. If Canada cannot control its own information ecosystem, that puts us at the mercy of whoever does.”
Time to act. We can’t import any more extremist bile into Canada or continue to play footsie with extremism.
