Just presented my paper in AANZCA 2024🥳 We analyzed the fanart creators’ AI protest on Lofter, the first large scale AI protest in China. With unique economic, legal, and cultural status, the case of fanart creators illustrates the challenges gen AI post to marginalized individual creators.
