Today’s acquisition! A genuine 80s artifact.

"The original black-and-white photo, kept at the Oswiecim Memorial, was later colorized by Brazilian photographer Anna Amaral, who was moved by the image of Czesława Kwoka and wanted to share it in color with the world.

In the photo, we see the face of a terrified young girl who didn't even speak the language and had just lost her mother a few days earlier. She was one of about 250,000 children and young people murdered at Auschwitz-Birkenau.
