Been without a post for a while.
I've been moving house, but that won't stop me from picking up a new army.

Time for some good old fashioned 40k Iron Warriors.

A broken Egger Bahn 0-4-0 widened with brass, plasticard, and filled to the brim with lead. She's a properly sturdy model now, and I'm incredibly pleased

Finished another OOn3 locomotive for my layout.

Crannog Rose is built from a Egger Bahn 0-4-0 and a Kitmaster Pug shoved together. Details and images of the build in the first reply.

Can follow progress at my RMweb page:

Lost access to this account for a moment, but we are back.

And I have some very fun projects to work on

I love all of your diesels, but I have a soft spot for your Neil. He's absolutely perfect

Cheers! Its still got a fair bit to go, but I hope it can get even cuter.

A little wooden trestle pier and a chimney between the two industrial buildings should make for a nicer appearance. Plus doors on each of the "hobbit holes"

Made a start on building my #OOn3 / #OO12 layout, set on the fictional island of Crannog. The diorama will be named "Crannog" with the depicted location having the working title of "Saint's Tide".

Adoring how its coming along so far

Should start a new tag for this for my future posts #OOn3 #OO12

Should make it easier to navigate

Cheers, just used some spare Bachmann OO9 Greenwich style couplings. The Bachmann ones fit into the N and TT NEM coupling sockets.

Cheers, my other favourite detail is the little fish above the bucket

Decided to put the new Hornby TT B4 pack to the test and use it to make my first OOn3 / OO12 loco. And I'm now very, very happy to introduce Dredger.

Currently making a layout and rollingstock for her, could not be happier.

I've been very happily plodding along with my 16mm modelling over the past few weeks. This week I decided to dig out some old stock I tried making years ago to fix up and finish.

Still got a fair bit to go, but I'm loving how this pumpkin is turning out.

Just this morning I put the final touches on my first 16mm loco and wagon. I'm so incredibly pleased with them and can't wait to build and collect more.

If it had joined Twain Shores, it would have received the rollingstock two-tone livery.

Instead its now a WD loco built from an unfinished North British mallet and wartime 8f spares. Used as a propaganda piece it eventually finds its way to the LMR for articulated loco training.

You are right on the money.

The initial plan was for it to find itself in the private ownership of Twain Shores to assist trains from the basin of the valley up onto the regular level above the cliff faces.

After a lot of thought however I decided to opt for almost a dozen rope worked inclines

Cheers, I always wanted a British Mallet as impractical as it would be. This has been a long time coming and I can't help but adore it

Just slapped the last touches on Malkavian.

For an unplanned model made from scraps, I'm incredibly proud of it and so excited to find a place to run it.

Cheers, of course you can. Its not quite done yet so if you wanted to get a better look at the design I'll have some pics out in one or two days.

A side profile to better show the vision, although she desperately needs more detail as I battle with this dull War Department livery subject matter.

I think I'm in a weird state of modeling whatever rolls out of my brain. Grabbing handfuls of different subject matters and pushing them into existence.

In this spirit, here is my WIP of Malkavian.

She still needs nameplates and weathering, but we are getting there.

RT Adventurers II 1st Run SALE, now in my webstore. This one's different. Not only is there a 10% discount on advance orders, but I'm also including bulk discounts for the singles. Do you think one of these ought to be expanded into a series? Well, if I see enough of that one sold, it might happen.

Cheers, it was a scenic snow I bought ages ago and I can't quite remember the brand. It was mixed about 3/2 with PVA, and once it was dry it got a wash for a very slightly blue tinted white to shadow the recesses.

The layout itself is a module for me, it links to my other layouts like Twain Shores.
