It can promote resistance, susceptibility, or restrict cell death 🤯
So what is its actual role?
We show it acts as a spatial organizer of immunity across cell types 🌱🦠 #proteostasis

Bruce and the band opened the Springsteen & E Street Land of Hope & Dreams American Tour in Minneapolis with the Motown classic "War" and "Born in the U.S.A." — a one-two punch that was live streamed on Bruce's social media for the first time, appearing here with a new audio mix by Chiller Sound.

🧵1/X 🚨New Preprint🚨 Root pathogens are hard to manage, and we know little about plant genes enabling infection (susceptibility genes). Here, we show that SCARs are susceptibility factors in barley roots - and their loss affects pathogens/symbionts in distinct ways www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...
Busy two weeks. Totally exhausted and happy to go to a beach next.. but early (?) midlife crisis ambition done. On to the next continent

.. perhaps not 'fairly early' 😒
Would be most grateful for any help and offer a free portrait/journal cover painting for your next publication. I'm four for four on the latter
A longshot, but by any chance does anyone have old(ish) copies of TIPS kicking around their departments? Specifically Jan.'22 (pictured). I'm after a copy as I painted the cover. @elsevierconnect.bsky.social want ~350 for one. Of course the thousands we paid for open access doesn't stretch to that
'tis the season I get sheep on my walk home from work
Embolism* I can't spell words like that. It's not like I'm a scientist or something...
Back on it. Four months post-embolysm. A few months to get up for the Munich (half) Marathon
The word 'symposium' comes from a Greek term for a drinking party, should you be looking for a truthful excuse to knock off early.
