Between April Fool's and 4/20, April is getting pretty damn insufferable with all the marketing ploys.

HOW THE HELL DID I FORGET TO DO THIS? #Bloodbound 5, Reverberations, was published to all retailers back in September, but somehow I forgot to post the DRM-free ebook version to my ko-fi. D'oh!

Or at your fave bookseller: www.bychasemcp.com/bloodbound
A drag performer named Olympia, wearing a long red hair wig holds a copy of "Body Parts" by Chase McPherson with a wide eyed, open-mouthed expression.
I sent two of my favorite drag artistes some snacks from the Deep South - along with my books. This reaction is chef's kiss. Check out the video on the @novympia.com Chanel.
3 sets of 10 reps each on shoulder press and leg press, and just shy of 2 miles on the exercise bike today. Small but steady progress.
1.2 miles on the treadmill and some starter reps on the shoulder press today.
A very modest start today. 500 reps on the recumbent step machine and one mile on the treadmill.
Gym visits, diet changes, chiropractor and massage visits all in my future. Not sure how many progress pix I may take during this time, but maybe when it's all said and done I can go shirtless on main at some point!
At my worst I weighed 310. My best weight over the last 10 years was 225, but I'm averaging 275 now. And I can't push, pull, or lift any sort of weight without profuse sweating and joint pain. It's time to take control.
Today marks a new era in my health journey. I've been granted medical leave starting this weekend and lasting at least one month (potentially three) so I can focus on weight loss and regaining muscle strength throughout my body in an attempt to alleviate fatigue, pain, and diabetes complications.
. @sylusdarkwater.bsky.social and I put this box together for the gerlz earlier this year - we can’t wait to watch and see the reactions to all the snacks :D
Someone needs to teach JONATHAN the difference between the numbers "185," which is my address, and 177, which is not.
I'm very superstitious about mentioning things I hope for, but I filed paperwork asking for a 3-month leave of absence from work so I can focus all my attention on working on weight loss. If I can successfully do that, I can potentially solve a lot of my other health issues. Good vibes requested!
I knew about Patrick Duffy's (Dallas) sourdough bread starter kits a few years back - I forget if I ordered them then but now it's a full-on line of bake-at-home goods at Kroger with all proceeds going toward fighting food insecurity. More info: duffysdough.com
Just got back home after the first motorcycle ride to and from work, and the first ever at night!
Today was the big test - bike ride to work, as well as my intended route back home, avoiding the interstate each way. Went quite well! Even got the biker's wave from a passing motorcyclist, which made me quite happy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jltC...
Third ride on the bike today, complete with a fill-up of the gas tank. Larger travel area (about half of my commute to work, and the last leg on the highway near home). Next step is a tryout of the work commute in full.
So the station my husband and I worked at in Florida was sold off yesterday and the new owners fired everybody en masse. All their newscasts have been scrapped and they're running simulcasts of the CBS station's local news instead. I'm kinda shook about it.
Had to miss a scheduled shift for the first time since we've opened today due to my chronic pain and fatigue, and I'm really gutted about it. Another sign I'm working in the right place.
Day off today after two days at the new IKEA. Despite throbbing feet and a nasty purple bruise across my abdomen that I still can't remember the cause of, I still feel more fulfilled than I have working in the last 2-3 years.
Had another ride today, this time over a wider area near home, with my husband leading in his car. Really helped with my confidence and we'll go even longer next time.
Also friends in our Discord server are calling me 'Bikerman' now and I'm really into that. x)
I did the thing today. Me and my wide body (and the bike) did three laps around the neighborhood for the first time just a few minutes ago.
Aaaaand of course the battery needs charging. Hopefully later today.
I think today's the day to take the bike out around the neighborhood for the first time. Pix later!
Can't believe it's already been a year. Gonna be a rough week for me.
Hubby and I just finished building the new kitchen island. IKEA fever is real, y'all.
Kenworthy's penmanship is impressive
It's finally here. Behold my new bike!
My key(fob). I am officially a motorcycle owner. Gets delivered Wednesday.
Had to go to work early due to husband’s early shift. Holing up in the ‘quiet room’ still under construction. Let’s just say ‘quiet’ hasn’t gone into effect yet.
