Okay. Discworld was fun! But that fun is over now and time for the next RetroPC game on that list.
And that is Sensible Software's:
Mega Lo Mania or Tyrants: Fight Through Time from 1991

There's a lot of art I find masterful that is hard to like because the artist that created it was/is a scumbag.
It's refreshing to find art I don't particularly like, but if I ever did I'd not have to worry about the character of the artist.
I already have Steam, GoG, and Itch to track the games I play. Last thing I need is *another* game platform to sign up for.
And not even their free games have gotten me to do so.
My top six bands in six different genres. The order is random.
1. Hum - Shoegaze / Mathrock
2. Alice In Chains - Grunge
3. Teenage Fanclub - Brit Pop / Power Pop
4. Sevendust - Nu-metal
5. Counting Crows - Alternative / Pop
6. Fates Warning - Progressive Metal
Okay, took me most of the weekend to figure out something to replace Spirit Of Excalibur with and here we are!
Starting this next Friday, our Retro PC game will be:
Terry Pratchett's Discworld!

We're retiring Chocobo's Dungeon 2 early. I love the game but it was getting a little grindy and that doesn't make for good streaming.
So on Retro Console Thursday, we'll be moving on to ...
Phantasy Star for the Sega Master System!

A little late in announcing this one. Next Friday's Retro PC game is another World Builder/Synergistic game. The first one I ever played back in 1990.
Spirit of Excalibur:

I added this to today's play list at the last minute when I didn't think Grave Yardage was going to take up enough time. If you're interested, It'll go up on my YouTube next week:
Battle Through Time for the Commodore 64

I can't say I enjoyed Conan the Cimmerian. It's probably one of the worst World Builder games I've played.
Next Friday we'll be moving on to some Grave Yardage. We'll probably play both the C64 and MSDOS versions.

Okay, 'Sea Rogue' was educational. It was a very interesting concept not very well executed.
I'll be moving on next week to another World Builder Engine Game:
Conan the Cimmerian

Lucky. My ADHD makes coffee nearly useless for that purpose. No energy boost. At best it relaxes me. At worst it makes me jittery.
Had a fun time with Transarctica, but I don't think we'll continue with it.
Instead we'll be trying to tackle one of the more intricate games on the short list: Sea Rogue for MSDOS.

Next Friday's Retro PC Game:
Transarctica/Arctic Baron for MSDOS via DOSBox. I just got done watching Snowpiercer, and I felt it was appropriate.

If they were bad, I'd just have to be a bad person. Sorry, not sorry.
I unapologetically enjoy me a good video game.
Today's stream might be a little different. I think before I start my game for the day, I am going to take a moment to talk about the World Builder Engine, and Mike Singleton.

Join me if you're interested in hearing about one of my Game Dev Heroes.
Been a while since I posted anything interesting. How about my current streaming setup?
(please ignore the pink walls)
In order: Wide Shot, Side Angle, Close-up.
I did a full play-through on this one in my let's play community. It was an awesome game.
I have J2 on my short list because I have such fond memories of this game.
When you say, "It's not that deep, bro". What you're really saying is "I can't or won't see the depth". Everything is *that* deep.
Finished up with The Fool's Errand. Lots of fun was had.
Next we're moving on to the first game we've played built in the World Builder engine and designed by my hero, Mike Singleton.

Getting fatigued by people saying that the U.S. is *now* a 3rd world country.
No it is not.
And it won't be until it's economically under-developed and being exploited by a colonial power.
Not gonna lie;
I love making stupid Shorts on YouTube...
Moreso I love that someone would get so cross at my stupid short they'd downvote it. It makes my day.
I hate to give up on Wild Arms, but I'm just not enjoying it anymore.
Moving on to Chocobo's Dungeon 2.

It was only a matter of time. Reality relies on floating point calculations.
Practical application was simply waiting on a device that could do them quick enough. Now we have them.
Woke up early today. I have a puzzle game today on my stream; The Fool's Errand. Which means it needs to be a double coffee day today.
Happy Friday!
I'll be honest, I watched the first movie once and I'd have a hard time remembering any of it if I didn't see it regularly shoved in my face by the commercials and advertisements that I am constantly trying to dodge.
This upcoming Friday on TGDL: Some puzzle goodness with...
The Fool's Errand for the Commodore Amiga
www.mobygames.com/game/1383/th...
Gregg The Bunny.
Nathan Barley.
Letterkenny Problems.
This upcoming Friday, we'll be moving on to our next Retro PC day. Government subversion and manipulation. Couldn't be more appropriate in this climate.
