Pragmata's writing is extremely sappy but in a nice way. The context of it being a dad game is that it approaches being a dad as 'what if a dad in a dad game was patient, kind and encouraging of their child" which is what you want all dads to be yet weirdly most dad games are about disputes. Hm.

The new Tomodachi Life is made to be shared — even if Nintendo doesn’t want you to Live the dream, but don’t share it.

Tomodachi Life doesn't have much in the way of content filters, but you can't share screenshots or videos via the Switch.

Perhaps a full-scale sharing ban was the only option. But that decision also runs counter to the spirit of Living the Dream.

Yesterday, Google chose to remove Doki Doki Literature Club from the Google Play Store. Their explanation is that the game’s content violates their Terms of Service in its depiction of sensitive themes. DDLC is widely celebrated for portraying mental health in a way that meaningfully connects deeply with players around the world, helping them feel heard, understood, and less alone on their journey.
