I took this shot of the Milky Way right as totality was ending.

If you haven’t experienced a lunar eclipse from a dark sky site, you haven’t experienced a lunar eclipse. I drove out to the Nevada desert for today’s (since it was rainy at home outside SLC). The ambient light changes were surreal, and watching the Milky Way emerge during totality was stunning.
