The duality of Overwatch is crazy, yesterday I was having a great time I went 8-2-1 and I ranked up but today I went 2-7 with a 6 game losing streak. I lost all the progress I made and I’m back where I started.
Idiots
I’ve been having a rough couple of days, but getting back to reading the OP manga has eased my mind a little.
Finished rewatching Ready or Not, I think it’s the first time I watched since I saw it in theaters. It’s still great, I absolutely love this movie.
Rewatching Ready or Not, it was one of my favorite movies of 2019, I didn’t really think it needed a sequel but regardless I’m looking forward to it. The first is so damn good.
It sounds like Oda has a place where he would like this version to end, so I don’t think it’ll go all the way to them finding the One Piece. My guess is they end it right before they go to the new world.
I don’t think I disliked anything that was changed, because they all made sense. I’m also cool with certain characters showing up much earlier than they originally did in the story. Plus there’s so many cool lore drops.
But it’s not just those two who are great, everyone is amazing in the live action. The casting is perfect and no one is mailing in their performance. It’s interesting to see what they’ve changed or moved around, I think most of the changes are due to the limitations of the live action format.
Finished season two of the One Piece live action, pretty good. I think the manga is still the best version of the story and the anime does the fights the best. I think the live action’s strength is in its character moments. I think Usopp and Sanji really shine in this version.
I’m 5 episodes into season 2 of the One Piece live action, I think it might be better than season 1. They’ve done a great job adapting it. 3 episodes left and headed to Drum island, I hope they stick the landing.
Oh my god, little Laboon is so fucking cute in every adaptation
I think this is the best version of Sanji so far too, he’s much more likable than he is in the manga and anime. Dropping his perverted nature was the right choice. When I started reading the manga I appreciated Sanji more than the anime. I think the anime does him no justice at all.
Usopp is so good in the One Piece live action, Jacob Romero absolutely kills it.
I spent 4 hours playing Pokemon Fire Red tonight, perfect Friday.
Started Wonder Man, I think it’s pretty darn good, I’m enjoying it a lot more than Ironheart
I used to love the MCU, but it’s just been so disappointing lately
Also the dialogue is kind of shit. The characters don’t talk like real people, it’s a little cringe.
I’ve been watching Ironheart and the worst thing about it for me is the AI being a copy of her dead best friend. It’s like Disney saying bringing the dead back using AI is a good thing, it’s not, the dead should be allowed to rest.
Their features can be over exaggerated, but it works in this world.
They kind of remind me of Jet Set Radio characters.
For normal people in happy relationships yesterday was Valentine’s Day, for me it was my 8 year anniversary on Reddit
“Can’t know your strength until you know your weakness”
This is what playing Jetpack Cat and saving your teammate from a DVA bomb feels like.
Also I may just be dumb.
Thankfully the characters, the humor, and the fights save it. I think it’s kind of like HxH, that got pretty confusing too, but it was still great because of everything else.
I had to google the rules of the Culling game, I sure as shit had no idea what it was about after watching the episodes explaining it. JJK’s biggest weakness is that it’s overly complicated, it’s always confused me when explaining techniques, but the new season kicks confusion into overdrive.
JJK explaining the Culling game
Me: what the fuck did you just say to me?
I really like JJK, but goddamn it can get really confusing, the 3rd episode of the new season completely lost me. Regardless, the 4th episode was fucking awesome.
