Oregon vesper sparrow

Sage thrasher

The gravel pit is the only known nesting area in the county for the Oregon vesper sparrow. Now that rarity has a rare visitor sharing the area, a sage thrasher, only the second county sighting.

Looked out the window this morning and saw Hemi’s run line on fire. Luckily it was just the reflection of the fire in my wood stove. 🙄😁
