Can Stonewall Mark II put trans wars behind it? New chair talks of consensus but she’ll have a tough job unpicking charity’s bullying stance Kathleen Stock In the history of gay rights, there have always been fearless souls willing to face down mobs of pitchfork-wielding fanatics, but perhaps none so brave as Kezia Dugdale, incoming chair of trustees at Stonewall. In an interview with The Guardian this weekend, the former Scottish Labour leader did the unthinkable and praised JK Rowling.
If you had any doubts that Stonewall is a danger to trans people, here is Kathleen Stock praisng them in the Times.
"When the gay rights cause first got going, the ideal was toleration"
I went and watched the segment on iPlayer. This is absolutely wild. It’s basically doing a free micro political broadcast for Reform during BBC Breakfast.

went to infowars.com to check out the new editorial bent and i can't tell if it's parody yet or not
1. This weekend, a federal judge permanently blocked funding threats to providers and hospitals that provide trans youth care.
The judge also blocked "any similar policy."
Hospitals have NO excuse and must return to providing care under many blue state laws.

#JournoRequest I am working on a story for @iflscience.com on the NASA cuts in Trump's budget proposal 🔭🧪
Is your mission directly affected, or will your research be affected if a mission is ended or cancelled? I want to hear from you; we will keep you anonymous.

if ONLY that’s what Bluesky was, are you kidding me. there is one religion here and it’s called ‘replying earnestly’
Absolutely incredible.
NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded Artemis II, took this footage from the far side of the Moon with his iPhone.
Watch with sound on.
This.
Reminder that shes not just a bigot with bad opinions
She actively funds hate groups taking regular trans people to court for doing their jobs, signal boosts lies about individual trans people to her millions of followers and lobbies courts and government to attack us
The propositions 'free speech must be preserved at all costs, without reservation' and 'we must defend Western Civilisation from insidious, degenerate "Woke" ideas' are in contradiction with one another, and are only reconciled by divesting 'free speech' of any content beyond the latter proposition
Stonewalll is done.
Not a stupid question at all! The reason why we see dark portion of the near side while the moon is not full is due to sunlight reflected on the Earth. We call it Earthshine.
It doesn’t happen all the time because the geometry need to be right for the reflection to happen. 🙂

It shocks me how many businesses still don’t seem to get that Trump’s cultural revolution did not actually happen
Cover of report "Mission Aborted: how NASA illegally implemented the president's budget request without congressional approval. Minority staff report, prepared by members of the committee on science, space, and technology, us house of representatives, April 2026
This report came out today by minority staff of the House science committee on how three NASA missions were aborted due to NASA illegally following the FY26 president's budget request instead of congressionally approved budget. Very important reading. 🔭🧪 democrats-science.house.gov/staff-report...
Fix your hearts or die.
We reviewed an 18-page report detailing the second-by-second surveillance of a trans woman. They followed her as she went in and out of the bathroom, even though she posed 'no threat."
It's one of a bunch of new details in this deep dive that @robertsilverman.bsky.social and I took for @wired.com
This is a really odd argument because I think at the heart of it, there is a deep misunderstanding about what writing is for. I write to communicate my thoughts and ideas, and to bring people along with me, which AI cannot do for me because it isn't me.
this is cool because it's a very obvious concept but it's neat to see it laid out in data!
