46 years ago today, the US Men's Hockey team beat the Soviet Union in the "Miracle on Ice."

Two days later, they beat Finland for the Gold.

Day after that, this was the cover of the Chicago Sun-Times. My parents bought that newspaper because their first son was born that day.

Sportflics run 1986-90. Printed out paper scans of the wrappers instead of using the wrappers themselves.

Back in 1973, I attended a taping of The Dick Allen at the studio of Channel 44 in Chicago. Dick’s co-host was sportswriter Rick Talley. When UHF was king! @phitter72.bsky.social @billpearch.bsky.social @heavyjstudios.bsky.social @ckamka.bsky.social @seank138.bsky.social @southsidesox.bsky.social

If you have extras, it still might be cool to put a spare set in 16-pocket sheets.

Do you mean the logos? Aside from that, I have the 1982 Fleer Stamps set (in their booklet).

1986, 1987 & 1988 Drake's sets.

They stuck with the 1985 Topps card back style for all 3 sets.

I love that on the back, it shows all the varieties of Drake's cakes on which the cards could be found.
