Rachel Reeves to set out extra support for UK households facing surge in heating oil costs Exclusive: Chancellor plans help for vulnerable and low-income customers due to conflict in Middle East

Heating oil prices have hit rural households hard in Stirling & Strathallan, so I welcome the Chancellor’s commitment to extra support.
I am continuing to monitor the situation and will be pressing the Scottish Government to set out their plans for the funding.

30 years on, we remember the sixteen children and their teacher who never came home.
We will always remember them.

I have tabled an Early Day Motion in Parliament to mark the upcoming 30th Anniversary of the Dunblane Primary School tragedy and to honour all those whose lives were forever changed.

I’ve been contacted by residents worried about the future of the 24/7 ambulance service in Killin and Balquhidder.🚑

I raised this with the Scottish Ambulance Service, who have now confirmed there will be NO loss or change to this vital service.
