It’s debatable, but she was 17 and the manager was a 49 year old ar5e, so she didn’t feel she could say anything. Honestly, hospo always complaining they can’t get staff, but they need to take a good long look at the way they treat people - I was gobsmacked at the way she was treated.

I tip if I’ve had excellent service (it’s a hangover from living in the UK), but generally only in cash to the person who has been serving me. Daughter was a table runner at place in Herne Bay - only the wait staff got the tips - she got tipped once and mgr took it off her as not a waitress.
