I didn’t think I would live past 30 years old (if that) so the fact that I turned 35 today is undeniable proof that you can literally just wing it. 😅

The Akedah of God

From Mt. Moriah to Golgotha's summit.

We assume the price is blood.

"What kind of God is this?"

Does it matter? We do not listen.

A God caught in thorns and thicket.

A God bound and given.

A God that provides.

A God trying to teach us;

"I desire mercy, not sacrifice."

Actually I was wrong, they say that full effects often take 4–8 weeks. Either way, I am taking it as a good sign.

One week of Zoloft = My stomach is very unhappy, I have little appetite, but all in all I think it's working. I know they say SRRI's need 3+ weeks to really settle into your system, but I most certainly can already tell the difference.

The Catholic bishops of Indiana have released a remarkable document localizing integral ecology. It situates the dioceses in the state according to natural regions and examines the watersheds in the state. A great example other bishops ought to follow!

Alabama Power customers aren’t giving up yet. On Monday, around two dozen of them marched to the HQ of the company to make that much clear. “Public utilities should be for the public,” one protestor’s sign said. My latest for @insideclimatenews.org: insideclimatenews.org/news/0704202...

Hell took a body, and discovered God.
It took earth, and encountered Heaven.
It took what it saw, and was overcome by what it did not see.

O death, where is thy sting?
O Hell, where is thy victory?

The Way of the Cross Today is Good Friday, and if you know me then you know it is the absurdity, horror, and wonder of this day on which the majority of my life hinges.

The practice of “walking” the stations of the cross on Good Friday became very important to me almost a decade ago and I have been writing and refining mediations on the “Way of The Cross” for this day basically ever sense.

If your doctors office don’t have a bottle tree out front to catch haints and capture evil spirits then I ain’t gonna listen to a word you got to say about any illness or treatment.
