I like the poems… but Andy Surkis “singing” them in the audiobook? Aaaaarrgghh the worst book listening experience ever!
A paper book and an audiobook, lots of smiling.

You were warned!
Yes for sure I would probably have enjoyed it! I'm just mentioning that the discussion/vibes at the time (online) was enough to make me not take the chance.
20 years ago I thought about making plans to go to a Worldcon... until I read up about it and realised I had almost nothing in common with anyone there (from discussions online at the time). I was super unencouraged!
It's okay to not finish a bloody stupid book!
Luke and Juliane are pointing at the book cover and smiling.
New SFBRP!!!

As a British reader, this book gave me the strongest sense of Cultural Appropriation I've ever experienced. However, this wasn't my main criticism, and I stopped reading at the 80% mark due to other major issues.
Luke is pointing and isn't impressed.

One of my all-time favourites. Every time I've re-read it, I've thought "Probably won't be as good as I remember" but it has been three times.
Name the book!
