I was highly skilled and so were my coworkers and we were paid pretty okay for the time, at least by entry level standards. Now it's farmed out to people who are required to follow a strict script (even when it's patently not going to work) because the bean counters think it'll save them a couple $.

Phone tech support remains one of the hardest and most complex jobs I've ever done. I had to know how to handle several systems and talk total neophytes through hardware changes. Also had to help people through installing Windows 95 during the rollout, that was....fun.

Please look at the mayor of Minneapolis and realize that, besides going on talk shows, he's done basically nothing to help the city and has vetoed pretty much everything they the city council has passed to help. He's also trying to centralize more power by changing our city charter.

Also, remember that cops regularly go to court to fight the idea that they have a duty of care to people, and have often won. They can watch you bleed out and do nothing and that's the system performing as intended.

This is beyond sickening.

I love THC seltzers, but they're not cheap at like $5 a pop from what I've seen. Gummies can be pretty good, too, but are still like $2 per depending on where you get them. Homemade edibles are also an option, though.
