It is really worth it!

I want to retroactively add Haste to my list of favorites of 2025, because holy shit, what a game.
It has an absurd, almost breathtaking sense of speed, but without sacrificing your absolute control over the character's movement. Fantastic stuff.
And yet Saint Germain, the silliest of them all, got all that screentime.
I'm not complaining, I like him, but the irony is undeniable.
15. Neon White
Peak. 10/10.
I'd never heard of this franchise, so when I saw the logo among the others announced by Disney, I thought it was some kind of sci-fi movie, for some reason lmao
Are the first two movies any good? I do love me a good comedy.
G: JUSTICE FOR MY MAN GRANT ๐ค๐ค He's one of the playable characters from Castlevania 3, and easily the most overlooked of them all.
Just give this man his own game, movie, series, line of figures, plushies, EVERYTHING ๐ฃ๏ธ๐ฃ๏ธ
It's an easy recommendation, but I have to say, it's not the kind of game you play to relax; it can get pretty intense and precise at times haha. I'd watch some gameplay videos to see if it catches your attention, and if it does, I'd play it without thinking twice.
Almost dangerously addictive haha and I don't know what I found more fun, going after the blue medals or the gifts. Two very different ways to play the same levels, and both a blast to go for.
Just finished Neon White.
Honestly, one of the best games I've ever played, hands down. Fun, stylish, creative, challenging, exiting, and a whole bunch of other adjectives. Can't wait to replay it eventually.
Safe to say, it already became a new favorite of mine ๐ค
Yes, I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on this one! I've heard similar things about Capcom's previous brand new IP, Kunitsu-Gami, and it didn't disappoint either!! Glad to see Capcom bringing that kind of design back to the AAA market.
And from what I've seen, some DLC characters from the new expansion are still to be announced, so fingers crossed ๐ค๐ป
That's true. From what I've seen, this game has been in development, or at least in production, for almost a decade, and you can see the effort in the quality of the animations.
I haven't played it, because I respect my money, but it's not hard to see how embarrassing that Terrifier game is lmao
Plot summaries on YouTube have never been more useful.
The Jay and Silent Bob beat 'em up released today, and I'm still on the fence about picking it up.
I don't usually pass up a good brawler, but I'm not that familiar with the franchise, and the humor seems a bit too crude (nothing wrong with it, it's just not my style).
I'll give it some thought.
26. This is Fine: Maximum Cope
When I first saw that this game was being made, I was like, "seriously?" but after watching some gameplay and reading about the project, I have to say, it looks like it could be a really fun time.
25. Arashi Gaiden
A turn-based action game, very intriguing. Love the art style!
24. Akatori
A kung-fu-themed medroidvania with a big focus on movement? Sign me in!
Not only that, but she was the best character in that game as well!! Would love to see them bringing her back.
ChiChi from Dragon Ball
Launch from Dragon Ball
The Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC if it was actually good.
mind boggling
On the surface, dumb things like blatantly using generative AI for Fatal Fury trailers and focusing too much on stupid gacha mobile garbage.
But beyond that, just google "SNK Saudi Arabia" and you'll understand what the biggest problem is by far. Too much for me to explain here, tbh.
Metal Slug is one of my all-time favorites, but to me, Black Finger JET, a spiritual successor being made by several of the devs from the original franchise, is the true, legitimate celebration of its anniversary.
I love SNK's legacy, but I have no interest in supporting what the company is today.
Considering how big the roster is getting, it wouldn't be surprising if they decided to add some crossover content, and there's no easiest money for them to make them to finally having an official way to do Sonic vs Goku lmao.
AND FASHA
It seems like they're adding everyone who was missing to the game, and much more. Nice.
Having the Goten/Trunks tournament disguise as a playable character is such a fun idea, glad to see them being creative with the roster.
Just 10 episodes in, I gotta say, it really was๐โโ๏ธ
Exactly! I managed to reach the room before the (first) final boss on my fourth run, just by abusing parries and dodges, and that's considering I'm TERRIBLE at parrying. To me, it sounds like the reviewer just had a huge lack of interest in learning the game's mechanics. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
IGN gave Absolum a 7/10 because the reviewer didn't like the roguelite elements... when playing the roguelite beat 'em up.
I don't like to generalize because many different people write for the site, but missing the point of a game seems to be a pretty common occurrence for them.
