It's a good job there wasn't a heavy rain shower in South West Leeds, or they would have cut to a special report live from Elland Road, leaving thousands of monster truck fans fuming. #SWFC

Fine decisions. It was close.

I made the freeze frame myself and the ground professional athletes cover in a single frame on YouTube is a lot. This is the closest to the contact, the frame before they are a metre apart. The ref had got himself into self into a decent position tbf.

Fair point.

A perfect view. I'm not a conspiracy theorist; these are difficult calls made in a split second, but to win a game, we probably need these to go our way.

The white line is considered part of the penalty area.

Even if an attacker's feet are just outside the area, if the defender's leg is on the white line, then the contact or trip is considered to have happened inside the penalty box.

Challobah is back and just getting into his stride. Every player is unique and the opportunities he creates are most apparent in fully competitive games. Videos are usually examined in team meetings. I'm confident Tayo will learn.

Every time we had the ball out wide, I looked into the box and Yates was surrounded by giants. Beyond Otegbayo, no one is particularly tall.

Imagine if Tayo Adaramola understood where Nathaniel Chalobah wanted him to run. #SWFC

Match 45 of 25/26 - Charlton Athletic (H)
The much anticipated first home win didn't arrive but the team played well enough and for most of the game it was enjoyable to watch.
Up those three match unbeaten Owls 💙🦉 #swfc

We did our player of the season presentation today before the match to Pierce Charles 🎉. It was a good match, we played well and I think we were unlucky to not get all three points. #swfc

Whenever we score nowadays I don't just cheer, I totally lose my shit, like we've beaten Real Madrid.

Let's call it what it is... an unbeaten run!

⏹️ A third consecutive draw for the Owls...

It finishes 1-1 at Hillsborough between Wednesday and Charlton, with Gabriel Otegbayo's second half goal sealing a point.

I'm not going to criticise any team with so many more points than us. Charlton were organised and worked hard.

That said, I did say to my son that their performance was unlike any visiting team this season, and I imagine we could see more like it in L1. Do we need one or two Michael Smith types?

1-1.

I know, objectively, that was not a great game. But me and the Scarf appreciated the effort on the pitch. Max, Liam, and Challobah do have a calmness when receiving the ball and a plan for what to do next.

Me: Scarf, it’s a bit warm today, and
Scarf: Wait! What?
Me: Look, we’ve both suffered and I think the time has come to…
Scarf: Don’t leave me!
Me: It’s in your own best…
Scarf: Shut the fuck up!
Me: Look, Svante isn’t even playing and…
Scarf: Take me to the game you stupid…
Me: okay, okay!

🦉 Your Owls this afternoon at Hillsborough!

I think this does fall outside of the IFR scope. They will license clubs and owners based on their provision of affordable business plans, but when things go wrong, the EFL will do punishments.

PS. I think wage/transfer restrictions will have already been agreed/eased. Or Storch would not have come out swinging over the 15 points.
