USAID were the best of us, people who went to the most dangerous places in the world to help others in the name of America. DOGE gave them ten minutes to clean out their offices. Outside, supporters gathered to thank them. It was heartbreaking

For $40 billion in 2023 USAID prevented famine and disease for millions of poor people around the world. For $112.8 billion we funded supplemental nutrition programs for the whole US. In the same period the 10 richest people made $465 billion. $213 billion just for Elon Musk.
