Dude how are crumpets so low cal?? My family had them in the house so I just casually picked up and checked the pack out of habit, assuming they’d be 150~200 for one, but they’re ~100 cals each?

I don’t understand how people are working out in those one shoulder type of sports bras… the unevenness would absolutely kill me and I feel like it would make me unconsciously work out my body unequally too because of the slightly different pressure on my shoulders

Have put my back out and have 3 bleeding knuckles from chopping wood for 2 hours yesterday in a frenzy with my headphones blasting aggressive movie soundtrack playlists.

Accidentally split the rock that we cut the wood on…

This week’s going ok so of course I spent all morning making a spreadsheet of goal intake vs actual intake and cals burned with deficit calculations in cals and kg and all kinds of nonsense that I will probably at some point miss one day of data input and subsequently never open again.

Had an incident with my family and some wooden planks (don’t even ask) that triggered the living shit out of my RSD and I felt like I’d been shot in the chest, so lay on my bed shaking and spiralling until 4pm then walked 20k steps and fasted all day. Win I suppose?

The yoga I do pretty much every day are surya namaskars and chandra namaskars. Really nice for full body stretch and super relaxing once you’ve learnt the moves and can just flow through the routine :)

I spent so long totally denying myself carbs that I forget some actually have great volume/cal value. Every once in a while I actually portion out some rice or potatoes and think “Huh?? All that for those cals?”

I’ve never been a “going back to bed” person but turns out it’s helpful to have some forced chill time planned in the morning to gradually switch brain on before throwing myself into the day. Getting caffeine & hydration in 1+ hours before morning workout means I’m way more energised for that too.

Fasted earlyish. Now in bed by 22:30, very excited morning routine is going well this past week or so. Getting up extra early, getting a coffee and big jug of hot water and going back to bed to drink it while watching TV has been really helpful with getting warm and motivated on these cold mornings.

That’s on the surface, but underneath there’s still total unbridled chaos - obsessed with having total control of every 0.01g of food, but also constantly teetering on the edge of totally losing it and going feral.

Significantly upping my intake and having family around all the time has meant I haven’t had a full-blown b1nge since living here, and also I have my periods back (sadly, but probably for the best) and my hair doesn’t fall out as much. I’m enjoying a little more freedom when I join family meals.
