We know we don't need a purchase. That isn't the issue. The issue is the lack of accessibility due to it being an in-store event with nowhere near enough codes available that have been scalped to extort fans in a time when online mystery gifts exist. Absolutely ridiculous.

The #Pokemon support network is a joke. Constant automated responses that are irrelevant & don't acknowledge the issue. The shiny Koraidon/Miraidon distribution has been a total disaster, & all the automated response says is, "You do not need a purchase. Sorry for the confusion!"

These #Pokemon event distributions are terrible. Many countries have had no event announced yet, and they're in store events which makes it difficult for disabled players. Hardly accessibility friendly.
