Took the afternoon flight into Emerald which has now resulted in being stuck in town for the night, roads to the north, south, and east are closed due to the rain the past few days

Very happy to hear that the new version now allows for installation on real disks. Finally a use for some of those 128G M.2 SATA disks I've gathered over the years.

Todays "quickly just tidy up some cabling in the server rack" rapidly transitioned into rebuilding Unraid because the USB drive has corrupted and it hadn't been turned off in a very long time.

@jbcrawford could it be some sort of loop that depends on LLM processing, so it usually takes about 10 seconds to complete but maybe if another feed in the list updates there's some extra LLM processing that happens which slows the loop for that cycle.

I raised the issue with the person who created it, the business owner, and after some discussion around how we can't have proper redundant upstreams without our own address space, I've received the go ahead to plan out what that would look like to actually implement. ASN/IP space, routing [โ€ฆ]

My Tor Snowflake proxies seem to be doing huge amounts of traffic lately. Example session active now, averaging 2-3mbps. This connection out of Russia.
Running one of these is as simple as installing a browser addon!

Just received a fully vibed project scope to implement that includes goodies such as fibre services delivered over IPsec, a singular IP address sharing multiple upstream carriers, and data centre to office connectivity delivered over a private LTE network.
I feel as though a private LTE network [โ€ฆ]

Kennards Hire you are out of your fucking minds.

I got the confirmation email and logged back in to fix the hire booking, since I assumed I'd somehow accidentally booked it [โ€ฆ]

In a week and a half I've done 150km, I don't think I had touched a bike in over 10 years before this. Most of those trips are directly replacing car trips (i.e. to/from work), with a few extra trips to the park for fun.

AEMO have made a change to their site recently and since then the public SCADA data seems to be irregularly released, in batches anywhere from 1-5 trading intervals at a time. This has resulted in some weirdness for @nemrecords which I now need to sort [โ€ฆ]

This week's acquisition was an ebike that I can use to transport the kids around. Has been used at least every day since I picked it up. Very fun for all.

On Tuesday evening this dad (and family) did the ultimate move of digging a giant trench to drain a lagoon into the ocean.

The next day the trench was over 2m deep and 5m wide, the lagoon now very joined to the ocean.

This morning it was over 20m wide [โ€ฆ]
