As an Australian I am heartbroken by this. My heart goes out to all those impacted by this horrific event. The rise of antisemitism in this country saddens me deeply.
Speaks volumes about how much/little women feel valued and respected
Explains why they are willing to still support and protect sex traffickers and predators
Very interesting. I love public libraries.
This administration is so corrupt. Everyday I read another thing they are doing and my brain explodes and not in a good way
So disgusting. Such a prime example of systemic racism.
So people who want justice are the bad ones. WTF
A screenshot of Fox Footy host Kath Loughnan interviewing Fremantle Docker player Andrew Brayshaw, who got knocked in the head late in the game and has blood running down the side of his face and onto his guernsey (jersey) Score bar at the bottom: Fremantle 77, Hawthorn 64, Full Time
Nothing sums up the Australian Football League quite like a player doing a post-game interview with blood streaming out of a fresh head wound

The first time Charlie Chaplin used his voice in a film, he wielded it to forcefully condemn the rising forces of fascism around the globe.

Just a reminder that Orwell’s protagonist in 1984, Winston Groom, works as a copy editor, except that his job entails endlessly “correcting the data” so that the archival record conforms to the Party’s preferred fictions, and what is “known” becomes a principal instrument of conformity.
This video is brutal

When Trump and Marco Rubio cancelled foreign aid, froze funding and began dismantling USAID, those who were cleaning up the Bien Hoa air base had to halt work. 1/
X post by Timothy Snyder (@TimothyD ...), posted 6 hours ago. The post reads, "The people Attorney General Bondi is calling 'terrorists' have had no trial and no chance to defend them. We do not know they are. Ignoring the Constitution does not make us safe. It puts us all in peril."
I know this first hand. When I was a child, my entire community was branded as spies and sabateurs, justifying our internment inside barbed wire camps for years without due process, trial or charge.
Watching from Australia and I’ve been following all the stuff around voter suppression in the Us. This is only going to ramp up in the lead up to future elections making it harder for Dems to ever win again in my view, unless people stand up to it.
53% still seems to high given everything he has done since coming to power
