This was an interesting project that came my way, early in the Fall of 2020. He wanted them in time, to be worn, for the 2020 US Presidential election.

This became an important project for me.
Even in Canada, I felt the weight of it then, and even more so now.

I had so much apple!! Fed my neighbours applesauce for several months, while I was making this piece.

Also - even better - they are just apples and vit c, dehydrated - after installing the piece. We ate the leftover sweaters.
That was the best part of the work, for me.

Apple Sweater. This is one of my favourites. I made 900 of these, for a sculpture competition (where I represented Canada at the IV Jeux de la Francophonie, in 2001). This piece, and so many things about it, break my heart (in the best way), every time.⁠
