A cropped screencap of the image that appears when a video won't load ("An error occurred while loading the video. Please try again" with a "Retry" button).
I think I might just save this image so I too can post presumptively devastatingly snarky video commentary, that won't load.
Yeah, it's not an especially healthy long-term solution.
You know what's not even a *short* term solution? Rolling over and dying.
I dunno, looks like the spouse might not be ready for the pop quiz.
I am not surprised so few people have heard of him. I'm a bit surprised the ones that have heard of him are mostly negative, I'd have thought that might select for people who were fans of his or of similar figures. I wonder how many people only heard of him once cable news started talking about him.
... not *that* part of his teaching career though.
Maybe they can have villain named Shawarma and a hero named, of course, Gyro.
The "sickos" meme but the weird guy in the window has been crudely replaced with Big Bird from Sesame Street Sickos meme explained here: https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/sickos-haha-yes
I mean, God knows how this scans in Ukranian but in English it's obviously a Disneyland joke. It's calling him a fake piece of shit.
Do the giant shared comic book universes do crossover events quite so often? I thought they mostly used the multiverse as a way to tell different stories about the same characters without excessive continuity pronlems.
Birds aren't real ... ly good correspondents.
A chart showing share of electricity production by source worldwide over the last three decades or so. Coal has been between 35% and 40% but in recent years has been slipping by 1% a year, and is now at 35%. Solar is rising quickly but is still less than 10%. Still, if I just take the current trends in solar and coal and extrapolate, assuming nothing else changes, they should intersect in about a decade (illustrated with dashed lines and an arrow labeled "2025-ish". Image is a screenshot of a chart on this page: https://ourworldindata.org/electricity-mix Data credited to: Data source: Ember (2026); Energy Institute - Statistical Review of World Energy (2025)
To be fair, eyeballing a chart and assuming the world doesn't get its act together and change current trends, he's probaby got a good ten years.
But it's important to show the separation of the saucer section of the version of the spaceship from the much later series he somehow (per Google) never appeared in.
Seriously, 178 episodes and no cameo for him?
Also the wrong age (he's turning 89).
Not the point but that's a terrible way to hold a knife.
Infrastructure Week!
To be fair I can think of like three other reasons he wouldn't listen to you minimum.
Also, calling "100 million" people "illegal" means a desire to expel the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of immigrants. No points for guessing which immigrants.
I do that, unless I'm worried about a shortish layover. But that's a hack to deal with the current incredibly dumb and counterproductive system, exploiting a situation that bad system created (ie, the gate workers are usually seeking to gate-check a dozen or two rollaboards). It's not a solution.
Finally, AI data centers will employ some people in the community.
Of course, part of the problem that when the mainstream media finds people to represent "Unions" they tend to pick older white male racists who are part of the Teamsters at best, but more likely are members of a cop or CBP union.
I'm just worried seeing Jim Caviziel under overcast skies like that. What if lightning strikes a *third* time?
Have Jerry post it, people won't believe it.
We had the old system: one checked bag free, overhead bins free. People used the overhead bins, but didn't fight to use the overhead bins.
Then they charged for checked bags, only, so people fight for overhead space instead of checking.
They should cancel or invert that change, either way.
I board planes in Europe and people are hunting for overhead bin space just like in the US.
I haven't seen Europeans being jerks about it, but I haven't actually seen all that much overhead bin misbehavior inside the US either. Confusion, maybe bordering on panic at times, but no vitriol.
If anyone actually wondered whether Trump was taking a cut of the proceeds in his East Wing project, he just answered that question.
The counterpoint is that they should check one bag for free and charge for any item that won't fit under the seat in front of you. Instead of doing the reverse.
I'll always remember that from the very creation of the "fact check" features they had to study with the world's best pretzel makers and origami artists in order to attempt to create the appearance of balance.
"FinTwitter" never cites sources and a quick Google finds things from October.
(at a glance "how" seems to be a melange of manliness and nuclear weapons)
