Spectacular in Boulder tonight.

Thanks Joe ! Your visit to our lab was a big morale boost during a turbulent time. Thanks for reaching out to us ! (And the donuts were great too)
No Kings Boulder
We said goodbye to 6 long term, highly valued colleagues at the NOAA Chemical Sciences Lab yesterday. Andy Langford, Jim Roberts, Wayne Angeline, Bob Portman, Cathy Weable, Jeanne Waters. All retired earlier than planned to spare other jobs. It’s just not the same lab today.
Or no orders at all from the federal government
I’m no longer motivated 🤨
In a bit of more positive news, I finished the Boston marathon last Monday in 3:23. Now, 5 days later, I am finally recovered enough to post it !
I also dislike this post !
Same happened to my terminated probationary NOAA Feds. I don’t understand why these people are given no consideration whatsoever.
I’m addicted to endnote. For no good reason.
Clouds darkening over NOAA research. We are slated for elimination in next years budget. Astonishing loss to the nation and the world if it happens.
Our NOAA probationary feds were re-fired today. Taken off administrative leave, no salary, no health care. I feel increasingly powerless.
Thanks Joost de Gouw for supporting NOAA
Great turnout for demonstration in Boulder

Admin leave is a step forward for our terminated federal employees, but it’s not enough. They are being paid, thankfully, but they are not able to continue their valuable work for the nation.
OMG
Can’t afford to sell my Tesla. Hoping to rebrand it instead.
The mood at NOAA is bleak
I just lost two close colleagues at NOAA to this afternoon’s firings of probationary employees. I am lost and heartbroken.
Very serious indeed. Not good for agency or lab morale, to say the least.

The US Constitution does not grant the President this unilateral authority.
In Illinois, we will stand against unlawful actions that would harm millions of working families, children, and seniors.

DOE is doing the same. We are awaiting sub awards through U Texas and CSU that are now in question.
Congrats on the initiative Dan !
Great week at the American Meteorological Society meeting. Multiple presentations on field work from the Tropospheric Chemistry and Atmospheric Remote Sensing Groups. Ilana Pollack, Nell Schafer, Emily Lill (CSU) and Brian Carroll pictured here.
