i don't think it's impossible to fake 40s-50s animation styles with cg and cel shading, but i think it takes a lot more time than the relevant teams were probably given and a lot more effort than was probably allowed. the result looks shallow and unfinished

very irritating to see 'coyote vs acme' is using the same cel-shading methods as the recent 'tom and jerry' movie. the colors and linework are extremely uncanny, and when a pose misses it REALLY misses. hopefully the script saves it, but this should not be an acceptable method of roger rabbiting
