I don’t think that I’ve ever played a recorder but I did have a dream the other night that I was using a recorder to play Glass Etude no 6 - obviously listening to radio 4 too much

Field’s metal - it’s technically an alloy but the great thing about it is that it melts at a low temperature so I can inject it into rocks molten, cool them and then see where it’s gone
