Secretary of State Phil McGrane told me is very familiar with farmer Dean Dimond and his election antics.
“I told the secretary of state, ‘This is crap,'” Dimond repeated to EdNews. “A person should be allowed to campaign against a measure without worrying about the state coming after him.”
PACs on both sides of the aisle are now involved in the West Ada trustee races, spending a total of $12,226.
While voters are considering who to vote for in two West Ada trustee races, the board will interview five applicants on Monday night and appoint one to fill a vacancy.
Kuna School District trustee race:

West Ada School District trustee election:
A PAC that received a large out-of-state donation spent $6,773 to support the two incumbents.
