I was really hoping for Last Holiday, but I can’t be disappointed in that final and also this wonderful result! Fire Island is a lovely film and a very worthy finalist and now winner. What a year for the romcom battle royale this was!

Last Holiday has the LI off-screen for AT LEAST a third of the movie! Imagine if that happened in a romance novel. Just...no guy. What a fun movie though. So glad I watched it.

I was a Paramount intern when Last Holiday came out. I did 8 pre-release screenings in two weeks and still loved this movie at the end of it.
