Right? But don’t worry, his solution is simple: he’s making himself and his cabinet exempt from freedom of information requests.

Oooh, did we hurt the wittle Pwemier's feewings?
Good. Bully him harder!
I mean, in this case it isn’t a matter of preference but rather disputing the credibility of the book.
These are all so beautiful!!! 😍
Chat, is it unethical to hit "read now" on a crank climate change denial book on NetGalley knowing I would give it an excoriating review?
Am I procrastinating planning on this sunny yet cold Sunday afternoon by baking cookies and reading even though I have no idea what I am giving as a culminating activity this week? Yes. Shhhhhh, let me read my physics book in peace.
And then comes back as the tragic, single-minded Annorax for "Year of Hell" in Voyager 😍 Such great performances
Meanwhile, Captain Hastings would be mystified by it all but happy to go along with everything.
"he didn't think he made the cut but then someone fell out"
"I know"
The way Lex is not just overtly but also covertly trying to wingman for Clark is diabolical
Look, if the men find out we can unhinge our jaw and suck out all their adipose tissue, they are going to tell the church
Clark stop spying on Lana with your telescope challenge
I've started rewatching Smallville for the first time since it was first broadcast, and I'm up to episode 7.
The freak of the week is Amy Adams as a girl who is "fat" because she weighs a disgusting 165 lb. 🙃
Bullying works!!
Bullying works!!
RABBIT TEST AND OTHER STORIES is a standout anthology from @samtasticbooks.com with stories both playful and powerful. The title story won me over slowly, and “Strange Waters” uses time travel as it should be: beautifully bittersweet. kara.reviews/rabbit-test/

Me: Ugh, I don’t want to leave the house this weekend 😭It will be sooooo much easier to pick those things up after work this week.
Me, later this week: I don’t want to stop anywhere! I just want to go straight home from work and lie on my couch!

Playing Assassin’s Creed Origins right now at twitch.tv/tachyondecay Come hang!
Yessssss she's amazing
Did today’s half-assed “spring cleaning” mostly entail shoving things into semi-random cupboards and crannies and calling it a day? Yes. Do I feel good about how things are “away”? Also yes.
(Also for real, I cleaned my downstairs bathroom for the first time in *months* and that feels gooooood.)
That was all right
My apologies to the chores I wanted to do this morning. It appears I must watch The Pitt finale before it's fully spoiled for me by simply existing online and having the gall not to watch it immediately.
I went into it knowing next to nothing, just the vague Cyrano plot aspect, and I'm so grateful. When Ellie first stared at Aster, I squealed and was like, "Ohhh this is gonna be gay"
The Half of It is such a wonderful film! Queer attraction, an adorable himbo, and a balance of humour with deep pathos. It's also beautiful—some of the shots are framed so perfectly I want to weep. There's one scene with a bokeh that's just chef's kiss.
Also, I live and work inside a building and drive places in my electric car. What, exactly, is an LLM doing with all that energy? No one knows 🤷♀️

When you're a girl who wants to be a little hot but also a little cold 😂
Screenshot of a spam email. The most recent reply says, "I've reached out a couple times, but I haven't heard back. I'd appreciate a response to my email below." This is a reply to a follow-up that says "Hello, Is everything Okay?"
Y’all, Cathy’s getting peeved I haven’t replied to her spam email. What should I do??
(I also realize now the follow-up time was 2 days in the first instance, not 2 hours like I thought—I was tired, lol, but this is still a wild tone to take with someone you are spamming.)
A white garment with some kind of food stain. Humiliating.
A pair of dirty hands rest on a car engine. Rough, tough, cool.
Here is an easy solution:
Food stains are humiliating, as they suggest you're a little baby who can't feed themselves.
Oil stains, such as those you'd get from working on your car, suggest you're tough, independent, and skilled.
Thus, simply cover your food stains with used motor oil.
What the hell is going on in Canadian media?
Why was journalist Tina Yazdani — who was dogged in her coverage of Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s government — suddenly fired from CityNews without any explanation to the public?
This is potential-major-press-freedom-story levels of concerning:
