This age breakdown is so weird bc it’s like 4-5 yr age brackets and then lumps everyone 45-64 in one group, and everyone over 64 in another. I would like to see 45-64 broken down in 5 yr subgroups too! It’s also misleading, makes Dem lean look more prevalent when last 2 groups are so much bigger
Pretty sure that was a pastor in WNC whose church and community are still struggling from hurricane devastation and yet he was still more than willing to help her. His generosity and kindness resulted in a big go fund me collection that he turned down for himself/his church gave to locals instead
One of them forgot how to speak English halfway through, the whole night was hilarious and beautiful. Was before cell phones so we just never saw or spoke with them again after that night.

So many people seem to think the recent extreme rise in housing costs is unique to their town/city/county but it is truly EVERYWHERE. I always just recommend not voting for the Rs who wanna zero out corp taxes bc that’s what brings so many ppl here.

I miss Marbles, my kid is 22 and about to graduate college so it has been a long while since I went. I need some out of town friends with little ones to come to town so I can take them (and me) on a tour of all the good kid places in the area!

There is a house in my dad’s suburban neighborhood that has had scaffolding up to re-shingle the roof for at least 4 years!! Up until recently, the roof was bare, no shingles for most of that time. During the holidays most shingles finally got placed, but sadly still not done, scaffolding still up

Valerie Foushee in NC is a reliable progressive vote in the House and she BARELY squeaked by in her primary yesterday.
Primary results yesterday tell us it is actually a very dangerous election for incumbents, and Mills isn’t technically incumbent but gets same “benefits”, but both parties are angry at incumbents so it’s not this great benefit rn.
Winning by 2% is margin of error territory especially in a poll of 237 ppl. You can see clearly that the wealthier voters are who are overwhelmingly supporting him. If the vote was only with working class (ppl making under $100k) he would not be the front runner it would be a statistical tie
