Went to watch Beverley Town. New stand was open. Early on the rain came, by the end much heavier. Would have been fine but I’d decided to celebrate non-league day by cycling there. Poor choice of transport.
Five chapters in to ‘Cast No Shadow’ and loving the ‘True Crime’ podcaster angle. Inventive slant.
As for Ferriby, referee allowed all sorts of skullduggery by the opposition for 75 minutes. Then suddenly goes ‘nuclear’. Pity ‘Tillo’ was on the sidelines pushing a pram.
