They will be the new architects of a system that we were trying to awkwardly fix by convincing others to include the excluded. When we rebuild, we will rebuild with new knowledge, new alliances, stronger values, better research and practice, and more inclusion. 3/4
The hardest part of my day is motivating my students to not lose hope.They ask me how I can stand in front of the classroom, teach the Constitution and public policy, and not cry.We need to show them that making their milestones matter. That their skill sets will be what we need when we rebuild. 2/3
